Is trout fishing in Virginia good in the summer like it is in the spring?

Yes, but as the others said water temp,levels and clairity play major roles. I don’t know where you live but there are several places in western augusta county all of higland county that have excellant trout fishing. Alot of that is do to the depthof the rivers and temp do to the rivers are coming fro mthe mountains in heavily shaded areas.
