Believe the type spinner you be talkin’ about is for Salmon?That “V” cut your referrin’ to, comes from the mold that’s used to produce the soft plastic body ~ and is not cut after comin’ out of the mold itself. Maybe other Answers ppl will have a little more insight with this;)…
Note: If your fabricatin’ the worm itself, after settin’ up, an Xacto knife with NEW blade (razor) could be used. Now if your talkin’ about make-shiftin’ a plastic store bought worm, same procedure ~ just make sure cut is centered (careful bout’ cuttin’, those plastic worms, they get squirrley and them fingers are soft ~ OUCH’
