Do I have to many fishing outfits?
Just got threw cleaning, all my rods, as well as cleaning and re-lubing all my reels.
Now I understand why my wife keeps asking me when am I going to open my own sporting goods store.
I have 16 bait caster out fits, everything from 5′-8″ rods to 7′-6″ rods. Reels are all either Team Diawa X reels, or Revo SX.
Spinning out fits came out to 8 one is a 10′ float and fly set up.
Not even going to think how much plastic and hard baits I have, but do have a 8′ double door cabinet full of hard baits, and a 8′ x 8′ peg board loaded with plastic….LMAO
Who thinks I have crossed the line between sport and insanity..ROGLMAO
Ok this is not even adding my fly gear that is packed up and stowed away sense I left Wyoming 18 yrs ago….6 of them.
3 off shore rods, with pen reels.
Not EVEN going to get into my hunting gear which is no longer used, but have about a bakers dozen.
LMAO guess I do not know how to sell off any of my gear due to memories that get attached to them…Like one rod and reel I have has not been used in over 10 yrs but I will not sell them due to earning my first pay check bass fishing with it. OH well so much for ol farts and memories ROGLMAO

16 baitcasters? That sounds about right!
1. One rigged for Carolina fishing
2.-3. 2 rigged for trolling.
4. One rigged with heavy Mono line (25LB) for 1/2 OZ + lures.
5.-6. 2 rigged for shiner fishing in thick,heavy cover.
7. One rigged for “light line worming” (10lb mono) without a worm weight.
8. One rigged for “medium line worming” (12-14lb) WITH a worm weight.
9.-10.-11. 3 rigged for crankbait fishing.
12.-13. “Suspending” crank rods.
14.-16. Spinnerbait rods.
17.-18. Back-up rods!
If you were a tourney pro you wouldn’t have ENOUGH rods! (lol)
Then again, I COULD be rationalizing the reason I have 10 spinning rods, 4 baitcasters, 3 flyrods! (Heck, if I was still in FLA I would have even MORE; Offshore gear & saltwater combo’s. )
Bottom line: Some people collect furniture, Baby dolls, Baseball cards, Records, Etc. YOU like to collect fishing rods & reels & equipment!
