Crush on a Co-Worker (part 2)?
OK, So if you read my other post on this topic, I really have this secret crush on a co-worker/supervisor. We have had a many time times to interact and he is always so polite to me and he dresses so very distinguished. Anyway, tomorrow we have to appear together as witnesses in a company court case. I was thinking about seeing if he wanted to go out after court for an early (5:30pm) dinner and drinks on our way back to the office after court (to retrieve our personal cars. He is 42, I am 21. He is divorced with no kids. He owns a Honda 2000, a house and rental townhouse, very clean-cut, loves antiques and fly fishing and is drop dead handsome. Should I chance it and see if their is any chemistry here?
Well, we head together to court in about an hour and I still want to at least have dinner with him. I know I may be thinking with my hormones, but, I really feel I have to procede here. I guess want I really like about him is he is my idealized “dad”. My birth dad, while a very good provider and quite loving towards me, has all the excitement of last week’s leftovers.

Absolutely not. There are civil laws that could cost both of you your jobs. If your HR people find out they will terminate both of you to avoid possible future legal trouble. If some one knows you two date and do not report it they will get the ax as well.
Personal Experience on this one. I was the older of the two and she was the hip young exec type who made it clear my advances would be welcome. We were seen at a popular local restaurant by other employees and some one told the HR people on Monday. We had been escorted off premises by 10:00AM.
