Your Questions About Carp Fishing With Corn

Ken asks…

Carp fishing question?

When fishing with corn do i use sweet corn right from the can or what? Also should i use that or doughballs and is it better to put them on a float or on the bottom? thanks

Joy answers:

You can use corn straight from the can if you use corn. I don’t particularly use it. I like to use home-made doughball.

Fish it on the bottom. Carp are bottom-feeders. Rig your corn on a #4 Eagle Claw Baitholder hook and your dough-ball on a #2 Eagle Claw Baitholder hook. And enough weight to keep it on the bottom. 1/4oz or 3/8oz of weight should be enough in lakes. May need to up it to 1/2oz or 3/4oz for rivers.
