He flies to flyfish on the Eagle River (CO)?
I am a VA flyfish, and travel to Vail for business in February. I'm having a day to fish the Eagle River. (5 weight rod.) What do you recommend for fishing flies winter? Should I fish streamers or dry?
You can see some blue-winged olives (small) or mosquitoes, depending on the weather, but I'd say you'll be fishing with wool-snot and nymphs (tail Juan copper pheasant, hares ear, prince) a weight of 5 is good
