Surf fishing in Barbados. Council?
Hi all, This may seem like a trick question, but maybe someone out there give me some advice. This July I will be in Barbados, located at the University of West Indies in a summer program abroad. I am an avid freshwater fisherman, both fly and launch, but I've never been in saltwater fishing. The only possibility for fish, while Barbados will be the bank. 1. What type of equipment is best for surf fishing in the Caribbean? Cope? Bait? Lures artificial? 2. Since the tackle / equipment depends on the fish, what kind of fish high on the coast for fishermen? All fishing bank can not be done with a maximum of twenty pound test, unless you want to sharks. You can catch barracuda, reef fish, Chad, the list is huge. You can find your best time snorkeling and spear fishing. It what I do.
