North Georgia Fly Fishing
What is the best way to fish for trout in a river in northern Georgia?
I’ve been fishing since I could walk (especially salt water), but I’ve never been before fishing for trout in a mountain stream. According what I hear, trout fishing is very difficult and requires great skill and patience. I’ll be fishing on the river in northern Toccoa Georgia. What kind of equipment I use and what kind of bait? Decoys? Worms? Flies? How do I fish? What tactics should I use? I’ll use a cane and I too slight rotation waders. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
I’m going to Toccoa all season with my husband. My husband grew up in that river. It uses the rooster tails and catch on the left and right. light spinning rod is the best way do not worry about it. Does not take much. themselves Hook! I hope this helped have fun!
