What is the best type of leads / damping material for use in my head while fly fishing with a banner?

Am using the waterline (4-weight) and having trouble getting my banners deep enough for trout can see (I think). I tried put a little split shot BBs, but slipped up and down on my head, or come right away. I said that I can get a sink in a loop-loop docking line from the tip which probably solve this problem. I'll buy one of these, but this problem is a temporary solution! Thank you!

A full circle difficult to cast with a 4 weight rod, casting streamers with a weight of 4 is difficult to verify that your local store for a fly fishing "sink" Gehrke Xinke is very popular (see link) is a small bottle and squeeze some out and rub it on your flight and your boss if you can not find that there are other where brands will do the same. There are leading the weight out there that will work better then split-split shot is round and it's not really the best way to flow well when you pull the bottom line as it tends to blow your "plan" to the surface like an egg .. Fly not so bad if you can find in your shop. There Local is a company called Fly-Rite is cylinder-shaped weight, but I've never seen them in a couple of stores, is probably the best I used. http://www.cabelas.com/floatants-weights-gehrkes-xink-leader-sink-2.shtml http://www.flyriteinc.com/gear.htm
