I need help figuring out what flies to use on my fly fishing trip.?
Im going fishing Fly into one of the best rivers for fly fishing Long Island. I do not know what type of flies to use at this time of year. If anyone has an idea on a type of fly to use please help …
dry flies we like better … Probably using a basket more … or, sometimes, a grasshopper … what others have said have some time to reach the water and look for errors … better still failed on the surface of fish and eat them … Sometimes we go fishing a hole for some time and get nothing … then we sit there for 10 minutes by train to watch … then we will tie into what we think they are eating … We crawl on his belly, and began meeting if we have too much to stay hidden … of what has just launched upstream from where the surface … I like to touch on some water with our fly when it lands … and let drifft with the current … BAM runs almost all the time …
