fly fishing southern california

Is there a good place in Southern California for hiking and fishing?
I'm in the Fallbrook / Rainbow area and I'm looking a good place for hiking and fishing, fly fishing or the classic question, does'nt, but I wonder if something here or if I should go one way or not. Thank you
I grew up a small bag (like a boy scout) in the Los Angeles area, but I do remember decent fishing in one of these trips. I remember getting decent numbers rainbows planted a stretch of SESP Creek in Ventura County but was on private land and rolled onto a disc. There may be some reasonable tracks around the Big Bear area, but again, the only fish caught there There was the lake. If the head of a few hundred miles north of Canyon Sequoia / Kings and yet, so there are many hiking and great fishing. I am not all familiar with the mountains east of San Diego (Cleveland National Forest), but rising to 4000 feet and there may be fish there, so it might be worth considering.
