Fly Fishing Patagonia

Geological Survey vs mechanical engineering?
Hello. I am just finishing my first semester as a junior in engineering geology. I thought switching to mechanical engineering. I chose engineering geology because I wanted to enter the sector Geothermal energy is (because I'm Nevada) or oil. I feel like I'm doing this for money and power. I realized I do not really care for the money now. Anyway I'll use it well, right? I love my job. I love the outdoors and love fly fishing and hunting. I think have a hunting equipment and the design of fishing stations for a company like Cabelas Outdoor, Scheele, or Patagonia would be a dream job. I also received a geological journey and I think that travel is just as if they want, right? If I change I think will be delayed one year or less. I have also considered higher education, would it be acceptable to graduate with a degree GE and then go to college for ME? I would like some advice!
petrochemicals is what you want for energy research and oil. You can pay up to 200 000 per year for a degree. Houston has a lot of companies looking to pay well too.
