Fly Fishing Ny

What diseases are flies or horse flies carry? Am I reacting?
Today I was fishing with a friend who lives in the state New York, was bitten by what appeared to be a fly deer or horse fly. He bit me, then hit him hard on my ankle. I was fishing near a battery people, so I was just curious to know if deer flies can transmit HIV / AIDS or Lyme Tularemia / Rabbit Fever? I guess the last two get along well, but I was afraid in any way …. i .. Thank you!
These flies are very bad! They are not carriers of HIV / AIDS, but bearing a number of other diseases. Flies can transmit anthrax, tularemia (Rabbit fever), Loa loa (skin and eye diseases), and filariasis in humans. Filariasis is a tropical disease villain is very rare in the west. It can transmit Lyme disease, as you say. In addition to disease transmission from birds, some people have allergic reactions to the saliva of flies poured into the wound to prevent clotting during feeding. Symptoms include severe injury, high fever and even general disability. It seems unlikely that you will receive one of the most "exotic" diseases of a fly over northern New York state, but I'm sure you know, Lyme disease is not uncommon there. Lyme disease can be treated successfully by anitbiotics, especially if diagnosed in time. I hope that you are well and I!
