What to do in Chicago in February?!?

Hey, I'm going to Chicago in 94 days … I can not wait! Im twelve and I'm flying alone with Colombia Airways with a stopover at Heathrow Airport. Incidentally, I'm leaving for Germany. I want to know what to do in Chicago … I stand there for a week in my aunts house near Navy Pier. I'm on the cheap February 14, 2010 and return on February 21, 2010. This is my first time (and the second, when I was young) to go to Chicago to ideas for restaurants and fish stores, museums, etc. if please tell me! xoxo Goody

Welcome in advance to Chicago! I am happy to see a young so happy to see our beautiful city. Since you will be at the home of his aunt, near Navy Pier has easy access to a multitude of tourist activities. I hope to get cooler (Standards for Chicago winter) for a walk along the wharf and see the water. partially covered with ice or snow is beautiful. When such is my opinion as a mother of six children: 1) Have fun, but safe! Chicago is a big city with everything that goes with it. It's a nice city and most of people are nice, but as in any large city to be vigilant and not to travel on their own. Watch your purse or backpack. 2) Wear appropriate. Most likely be very cold outside, but we keep our buildings and museums too hot. Nothing ruins a fun day as too cold or too hot to dress in layers and peel off or as needed. 3) absolutely see the Sears Tower and / or Hancock Observatory. If it arrives at lunch time, I recommend the signature room at Hancock. You can get the lunch buffet for about $ 15 and enjoy the view at the same time. It is good to sit and watch instead of walking around the glass windows -. 4) Art Institute fabulous collection of art exhibitions to travel. Afternoon free on Thursday from 5 to 8 hours. Be sure to see the collection of drawings by Turner and the wing wonderful impressionist -. 5) China Town to ensure a adult. View Nine Dragon Wall, the gate to Chinatown and the Plaza and the American Museum of China -. 6) Greek Town for some good places to eat, visit the district Greek Town. A variety of rates and levels are available, but the food is wonderful categorically -. 7 Grant Park), and Buckingham Fountain Yes, I know it is winter and will probably be covered with snow. It's beautiful anyway. 8) While you're in the area of the subsidy stops at Eleven City Diner for a burger or a sandwich and shake. Great old school deli with super large portions and a lively atmosphere, no matter what time of day -. 9) Brookfield Zoo 10) Magnificent Mile shopping (just to say been there, done that) 11) Science and Industry Museum Do not miss the exhibition of dolls 12) Rainforest Cafe, ESPN Zone or 13) Superdawg – Chicago style hot dogs and the best shakes around! Enough said. 14) Millennium Park 15) Another museum Field is Chicago style pizza. Almost everyone likes or Malnatti Lou Giordano. I prefer the original Ginos Pizza used to be able to engrave on wall. I suppose that the wall was left without room, but it's fun sitting in the booths and read what all carved in previous visits. Have fun!
