NP Mount Rainier and Glacier NP?

In one week, I will fly to Spokane and I Friday night, Saturday and Sunday off. I would like to hiking and / or fishing. T anyone recommend a national park in the other? Why? I think that driving times are about the same for both. Thank you!

I live in Spokane and I would choose Glacier Park safely. The problem is, however, that the main roads started to close this time of year (usually around October) because of the snow. You can check road conditions here: http://www.nps.gov/applications/glac/roadstatus/roadstatus.cfm. You can also seen in the Bob Marshall wilderness (http://www.thebmwf.org), which is in the same region, but has fewer restrictions on outdoor activities because it is not a national park. Mount Rainier is too cool and if you are in the region, can be fun to see Seattle and the Olympic area. It is certainly more crowded it is therefore something to consider too. I'm sure you can enjoy one of these places, so have fun!
