fly fishing for stripers

I just bought my first fly rod (a single action, nothing fancy), and there were a number issues of fishermen who were able to do for some time. what goes on the reel? Return flight line and leader. What is the link at the end of the lead? and what's cape? I am especially concetrating in a couple of tanks in central Texas. Striper and hybrid bass, crappie. any help is appreciated.
Documentation with your reel should tell you the ability to support and line flying. If not, find the manufacturer's website and check the model of your reel. The loop at the end of the leader, if the final thickness is to unite the flight line, which will require a loop too. This a loop-loop. (N is the best way.) Tippet is usually a single thin line is related to the end of their leader, usually 18 "or less binding on the fly. Shortens as the cape to change flies, you change it, save the length of the leader.
