I went into this film at the film festival at the expo. There was a lot of good "fish porn" in the show, but for some reason, this movie is really happening people – the audience boos and applause from all time. But beyond the fact of being a movie and actually fishing, is surely proof of concept bass fishing on the fly. I never fish with a topwater fly noisily, like this – not in the team to fly anyway. Most of my success with a cane was dead fly larvae drift drylands and other woolly buggers, streamers and minnows below the surface.
