Why do people say that pike do not fight?
People say I'm fighting not bite. you probly using the wrong type of art. Any struggle fish if given the chance. Ive just started Fly Fishing For Pike fishing is always better especially when you catch a pike of 18 pounds. the struggle continues for several days. dam rite 18 pounds. I live in Corby, but I have a spot of fishing trips and a lake full of good around me full of bites and fish that makes me fly for them. The recored for the lake is 25 pounds. This is simply not the real fight, but go for example, nuts and more. I do not see many cars jumping carp jumping rite dam good fun
I've never heard anyone say it, trying to carry a pike in the depths a fly rod and a fast sinking line is very hard work but great fun.
