One month trip around one of Alaska: how much can I expect?
I am planning a trip to Alaska in summer for next month. I made an exact route, but I have plans to go hiking in Denali Park, and some glaciers, fishing salmon, and maybe skiing. It is my intention to travel around a large area of Alaska (by ferry, hiking, fly), which will no doubt a variety of accommodations (camping, hotel, accommodation, etc.) If someone made a similar trip in Alaska, how much the total cost for the period of time? I have allocated only about $ 4000 for a trip ($ 3000 after trip to Alaska), but I really hope I can allow exploration of Alaska with that money. As I said, I do not details exactly what I do, but want to make $ 4000 is reasonable enough to even consider the possibility of Alaska. Thank you for any help!
If I was you, I'd say about $ 200 per day. I found this a good average for a trip like this. This does not include tickets aircraft, but does not include meals, accommodations, special tours, short flights, etc.
